OBC / OUR OWN ONBOARD COURIER
PRIOWAY operates its own OBC service. An onboard courier accompanies an eligible shipment during the flight journey, with collection and delivery arrangements agreed for the individual assignment.
01 / THE DELIVERY PLAN
Hand-carry is an option to consider when a small shipment needs to cover a long distance and an available flight could help meet the deadline. The item might be a service component, an urgent production part or documentation. We begin by assessing the contents and the complete journey, including the ground transfers.
A PRIOWAY courier carries out the agreed assignment. Before confirmation, we check shipment acceptance on the proposed route, travel availability and the receiving arrangements. Destinations and delivery times are confirmed individually. A flight timetable alone does not establish when the package can reach its final handover point.
We need a precise description of the contents, gross weight and dimensions of every package. Declare batteries, liquids, gases and any other items that could affect air transport acceptance. Airline requirements, security screening and baggage restrictions also apply to small objects. We do not quote a universal weight allowance: the requirements must be checked against the proposed connection.
An OBC plan includes shipment release, travel to the airport, check-in, the flight or connections and the onward journey to the receiver. Collection and handover points and contacts are agreed in advance. Where the route involves border formalities, the necessary information and documentation need to be established before the assignment begins. The complete journey is the basis for assessing the proposed delivery time.

If package details or available flights limit the hand-carry option, we can check urgent road transport within our European operating area. The transport proposal follows the individual assessment.
02 / FROM ENQUIRY TO HANDOVER
Send the contents, package count, packed weight and dimensions, and packaging photographs. Include collection and delivery locations and the required delivery time.
We check courier transport suitability, shipment acceptance and travel availability, then agree the price, documentation and handover plan.
Collection takes place at the agreed point. The shipment must match its accepted description and be prepared according to the requirements established for the journey.
The courier follows the agreed delivery plan to the nominated receiver. The required handover confirmation is established for the individual assignment.
03 / BEFORE COLLECTION
Yes. We operate our own OBC service. Each assignment is confirmed after checking the contents, route, available connection and required delivery time.
Acceptance depends on the airline, connection and type of item. Send the actual gross weight and dimensions of the finished package so we can assess hand-carry suitability for that shipment.
These must be declared before quoting and assessed against the requirements for the proposed journey. Provide their precise contents and specifications. A small size does not automatically make an item acceptable in baggage.
Every route requires an individual check. Flight availability, shipment acceptance and border formalities may limit what is possible. A feasible route and delivery time are agreed before the assignment is accepted.
